I tried one before but never really liked how it makes them turn out. Felt like I ended up with a lot of the crystals just falling off my buds. It's a lot more work to hand trim but it really shows in the final product! I'll always stick to hand! Cheers and happy growing!

Topping or LST after 1st topping Last week I topped this little baby, the plant now is growing ok. I noticed that not only the two top side branches are growing a lot, but that the ones on the node under it too. I would like to make the 4 grow and like that I don't have to top more, is it ok? Light distance and when to top?I'm using a 300W LED. What distance should I keep the lights at now that I've transplanted and the plants are doing well? I'm thinking 24" and then move up as they grow until flipping. Also, when should I top? I've read that waiting for 6-8 nodes is the right way to go.

Are those nutrient defficiencies? Which ones?A plant had interveinal chlorosis on new leaves and then proceeded to show brown patches between veins on middle leaves. Another has coppery brown spots on leaf edges on the middle of the plant. Both were rootbound in living soil (peat/perlite/hummus + ammendments).
