my grow setup consists of two trashcans. One for veg (3x 45w bright white cfls), and a larger one for flowering. I do not have a light for the flowering trashcan as my plants are still in veg stage however I am in need of a cheap flowering light fixture. Any recomendations?

18x18? 24x24? obviously diameter in this case... check out thos spider farmer lights, might be good for that footprint, and an efficient option. it'll save you money every month you use it compared to many other options at roughly the same price. compare efficacy.. if they don't show it, assume it is horrid. umol/s per joule or whatever... lol.. it'll stand out as such. get something with samsung lm301 diodes and you'll be rocking. even if slightly more now, it'll pay for the difference in 1 year or less, in this context.. less i bet, compared to the cheapies you can find, plust grow better bud clsoer to 1.5g per watt.

Light intensity My plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Got a Mars Hydro TS600, will it do alright?My plan is to grow only 1 plant, in a 40x40x120 tent. I know the tent is pretty small but hopefully i can do some training on the plant to grow wide Will the light do until the end? 100wats, but no light dim possibility. Bad idea?Will a mars hydro TS1000 be too strong for a 60x60x140cm tent? I have been using a TS600 and TS1000 in tandem in a tent 4x too big for the light level, I have been growing strong and tasty buds but with low yields so downsizing my tent size to maximise the light.

When did the flowering start?The LED panel, after switching (Ts600 Mars Hydro), stayed slightly on even during the dark hours. I managed to fix the issue, but I'm not sure how to count the flowering period. The plant had shown some differentiation, a few pistils, and a bit of stretching. What do you think?

Should i raise the lamp to force the strech?I had the light the past few weeks 30cm over the plant on 100% wich has 930ppfd in 20h duration it was all together 65 DLI.
