How important is cannazym in my coco grow?

Should I be using something like cannazym in my res. for my coco grow? I notice allot of people don't mention it, but it seems like they would have to clean the tubing pretty regularly without it. I've never grown without it so I really wouldn't know the other side of the coin.

Ya dude, dont grow without it if you are recirculating. Actually, you should really be draining to waste on your coco. If you are running a res that empties in 2-3 days, you dont need it, but you do need aeration and at least room temps or less. For NorCal, who is a great scholar and ambitious answerer (first time grower, and amazing results so far) coco can generally be reused as a medium with a good washing Cheers

Never heard of it before, but just looked it up and read about it.. seems interesting expecially if your wanting to try to re-use your medium. I don't see any reason why you can't use it! Should be beneficial all around with no side effects.. Here's their use instructions Nutrient and enzyme preparation for aiding in the breaking down of cellulose. CANNAZYM helps breakdown dead root material. Shake the bottle well before use Dosage: 0.3 fl oz/gal (25 ml/10L) Minimal once a week, preferable continuously Older (untreated) slabs; double the dose for 1 month When reusing the medium; double the dose for 1-2 weeks Do not prepare the solution for more than ten days in advance Do not use together with products containing hydrogen peroxide
