Does everything look ok?? First grow ever! Perhaps shouldn't have started with an Autoflower. Worried as the cotyledons are drooping. Serrated leaves look fine. Germinated in a peat pellet then placed in a 5gal fabric pot full of Premium Organic soil w/ slow rel organic fert

Water not under the root, but around the plant at a distance of 10 cm. The roots are looking for water. Roots will develop better and faster. 🙏

Hi! I think your seedling will make it, but it does look a bit fried. And definitely small for its age. Those temperatures are too cold for cannabis to thrive...especially in vegetative phase. You want to shoot for 70-85* F. If you're feeding it any additional nutrients or fertilizers, stop immediately. It's too early to need that; soil doesn't usually start running out of nutrients until Week 3 at the earliest. All she needs is light, water & air circulation at this stage. When watering, pour the water right around the base of the plant instead of soaking the whole pot so you don't end up drowning it. Good luck!

Hello ! Yes they are small , and maybe they will not thrive correctly , could be so much things. The Ph is not good as even at the end of flowering in soil you should not get higher than 6.5 and at your stage it should be 5.5 or 5.8 so I bet you have a ph issue. Hope it will help you

Yes it is really small. Something like this happened to me once, when using peat pellets, peat is too acid and can sometimes inhibit the growwth of the seedling, this is why I stopped using them.

Hi, Can you tell me the Name of the Organic Soil=?. I think here may be the cause of your Problem. I see an PH of 7 , its not quite optimal. I think its a quite good soil but not for a young seedling like this. I think its to much nutrients for the lil one . I would recommend to dig her out gently, dig a hole and fill the hole with a light, fluffy soil. you can use a light fertilised soil. peel the jiffy ( gently) and put her into the lightmix bed. now she can grow in a "nutral " medium . Andwhen she grows , she can get the Nutrients of the good Organic soil. ( you can look into my Diary with the Dark Devil, there are pictures)

Hi @revhead! Yes it's small, it looks like it stopped growing after a few hours. Here are some clues about your issue: 1) Your night temperature is really cold, you have almost reached the maximum plant tolerance to cold [which is around ~60°f / 15°c] so this would be the 1st thing I'll try to improve. 2) Your 7.0 pH level is almost neutral, whereas you want it to be slightly acidic (6.2~6.5) in order for the roots to handle nutrient intakes, and spread at full speed. 3) Slow release nutrients are not the best option, especially for beginners, since you can't really know the amount of released nutrients, and you can't control/change your feeding schedule [or you'll have to flush multiple times to get rid of these]. 4) It's important not to water straight at the bottom of the seedling, but to water the "outside border" of the container, this will encourage roots to spread, searching for water. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Hey Rev ! Yeah man autos are great, at least you don't have to think about light leakage at all ! Yeah it's a bit small but it will buff up just a bit slower - expect something like 12*14 weeks total. Check your incomin PH you really want that a tad lower like 6.5, other than that watch your temps and your watering. seems you dont have much perlite so overwater can be a problem in such big pots. It could kinda like over pack your soil, so make sure that doesn't happen. Many growers skip these first two weeks when they post their diaries, so sometimes it seems like they grow quicker when it's not actually that. So kick back and watch your plant grow - when you think of it like that it's no wonder it feels slow ! 🚀

Hello @revhead ! Indeed it looks like a bit small. Most of the times that happens due to over/under water i believe under water in your case. It looks like it went through a long dry periode. You also have to raise a little bit the RH and the temperature. Happy growing ! 👊

Well it does look a little small. How far away is your light from the top? Is it adjustable? Many problems start with incorrect ph, and overwatering. Did you soak down your soil before you put it in there, or just plop it into a bucket full of dirt? Last item, you put a seedling into a 5 gallon bucket so the roots are having a while to move down, that will keep a seedling short for a bit. My best guess is overwatering, and seedling in 5 gallon bucket. It doesn't look stressed, just small so dial back the watering. A lot of people baby the seedlings under low watt cfls, (think 65w or 85w) until they get a bit bigger, then after 1.5 or 2 weeks drop them into the grow medium to veg. There are other schools of thought that say just plant autos right into the grow medium and have at it. I personally prefer the first method. Whatever you do, do not give that thing any nutrients for awhile, it's still in seedling stage. Check your light manual for distance for seedlings and make sure you are at that height and adjust accordingly. Hope that helps. Btw, I did the same grow as you, same seeds, WW-Auto from ILGM. It's a great hobby! You are gonna love the flavor! Good luck!
