I am experiencing very slow growth on my autos just on daylight as expected (but more than I see in some autosgrow in YT videos). Starting a new pot, bought a 3gal smart pot, and some full spectrum 75W led to make sure 18h light period. during the day can I leave in direct sun?

My experience with outdoor autos is that they need to get used to the weathere they live in. I leave them outdoors in any weather condition (I started mine in april and never had to move it inside, nights were 15° in Italy) and even if there is no direct sunlight they will still do their job. All I care about is moving them away from the rain as it may damage everything. Hope this helps! 😊

Unfortunately, I cannot grow on tent indoors 100% due to cost and space. I live in south of Europe, Portugal so weather is great, but this year specifically the nights are still chilly in around 17C sometimes... my idea is to turn the let on before dark so the plant dont feel it much ?

I don't think moving from sun to led constantly in a different environment can be good for the plant... If you don't get the hours of sun necessary in your part of the world, just get a tent and grow indoors? 🌱👍

Yes, my balcony gets suns from 1pm to 8pm (sunset), then Id move it inside (also due to chilli nights) and turn on the led to make a total of 18h to 20h of ligth, being some periods of more direct light (sun and led) and lower indirect light (morning time)....

Id use the sun any chance you get, at least 5 hours of direct light, more if you can get it. Then supplement with the led at the dark hours or as soon as its in the shade. Unless you're plants are hedin?m
