what is the right method to watering the plant at the beginning? Should I put some water on the top of the net pot? Should I do nothing because there is a kind of capillarity with the clay balls?

Hi there! Yes if the netpots are not in the water it would be good to keep it all moist just in case until the roots hit the water. I try to put the whole netpot with the rockwool in the system so that the rockwool is touching the water all the time. This might have some problems from what Ive read but im not sure if I have run in any.

I always started my seeds right in the rockwool cubes pointy end up and place right into the netpots as they germinate. Start your system up about 4 days after the girls appear with 250 ppm. My system was rdwc and the water line to the buckets entered at the top beside the net pots so my clay was alway getting pretty heavy flow of water from the time the roots broke through the rockwool.
