Cloning plants though winter for outdoor grow

Is there a way to clone my plant to take my outdoor grow into next season. I do not have an indoor set up. And if I clone now I’m not sure there’s enough time to veg and flower. Can I clone and keep the plant in a veg state until next spring to go out doors? (From the cold north)

I do have lights that use for supplemental light in greenhouse to extend the daylight in spring. But no light box. Or vents or all that fun stuff. I don’t really desire to invest in that. 12 outdoor plants will probably yield more than I’ll need or use in a year. I didn’t know if a window and grow light with specific timing would keep a clone in the veg state until spring.

If your trying to do all that outside then no.. You'd need to have an indoor setup.👊
