Hey everyone. My soil ... It just isn't drying out . How can I help it? The plant is basically stunned into its third week and not 5 cm even. Soil is all muddy after 5 cm . Can I mix perlite? It's in direct sunlight for like 15 hours a day.

Yes, perlite or vermiculite are good additions. Even when using a prepared potting soil I will add so 1/4 of the mix is perlite for good drainage and aeration. Outside though you can't control the rain so a mound or the bucket idea might be a good option. I've done the bucket with no bottom for many different types of plants and it can work well.

Just let it dry out, elevate off the ground and maybe top dress with perlite. Water by weight. If it’s light, water—- heavy, no water. Good luck! We all over water at some point or another. ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Hello. I would like to suggest making a mound by mixing in to the soil some,- perlite or vermiculite or peat moss or straw or sand. You can also cut the bottom off a 5 gallon bucket and fill with mixed soil and let the roots grow down at their own pace. Chuck.
