Hi
@AussieChron! Some breeders work hard on stabilizing genetics through a drastic selection, trying to improve some specific traits of the strain in order for the seeds to be quite the same (stabilized phenotypes looking almost all the same). However, some breeders don't, and do release their strains as soon as they can without further testing/selecting. You can expect very good results from autoflowering strains but the environment needs to be perfectly controlled, they're really easy to stunt. So my guess is that either you had a bad phenotype / unstable strain, either you had pretty bad conditions such as heat, lack of light, or invaders/bugs... Happy growing 👊
