Does putting your plant in 48-72 hours of darkness before harvest really produce more trichomes?I've never tried it before and I'm curious to know if its true or not.

Hi there! Well this is a common cannabis legend, the theory is that by going dark, it stresses the plant into one more push of resin in a final effort to get pollinated....Some says it will also result in a better tasting product with a final 'explosion' in aromas. Even if the theory is right, I personally am skeptical since this never happens in nature. Because there is no "yes/no" answer to this question, I suggest you try on 1 plant and compare with another one who haven't been through this final darkness. I'll be around, keep us up-to-date if you try this method and good luck with your final days! 👊

you have matured girls, night 24-48 hours is enough, at this time the plant gets stressed and tries to keep offspring (there are no seeds) 😂😁- it releases resin.

Agreed with @Athos. Anecdotal evidence suggests so, and botanical theory as well, because flower production supposedly occurs at night. I flower at 11/13...Hawaiian style I’m about to test a new (at least to me) method in which I extend the dark period from 13 hours to more; 15...18...21...30 Then turn lights back on for 11 hours. Repeat for a week or so. We’ll see!! Love to experiment She looks incredible! Excellent work. Looks like 3-4z to me. Enjoy

Controversial topic. Many will say yes, many wont agree. Best bet is to test it yourself
