I just fill a small planter with nutrimix hp put seed down 1/4 inch with pointy seed up, put under 18/6 light, a cmh 315 watt 3 ft above them and 3 to 4 days usually I am welcoming babies into the world, without ever having to handle them. Results are super fast growing babies. Cheers

Hello So I used to only do the soak and then paper towel method too...sometimes i had seeds that didn't seem to want to break shell until i started to put the heating pad under them. After increasing the temperature consistently, the difficult ones always would break through eventually. So possibly consider the temp of the container the paper towels are in . Most recently I tried sprouting directly in peat pods(jiffy pellets, cubes) and it worked so great, i didn't have to disturb roots when transferring them into the soil after they broke shell. Now I'm pretty sure that's going to be my main method for germination. If you choose jiffy pellets they keep a neutral ph, they're able to maintain a better internal temp, they stay moist for several days, and they have everything a seedling needs nutrition wise in the pellets for the first week+ of life. The seeds i put straight in broke the top in about 36 hours.. so a little longer but well worth it. 👍So I'd try that method for your last babies.

All of my seeds are germinating! Even the seed that's 5-7 years old and was kept in a dry, dark place is sprouting quickly! Today is the third day for me - it's planting day! 👌

I don't use the paper towel method I find it has easier chance to mess things up. I soak my seeds in a cap full of water for 12- 24 hrs in a warm place. Should see them cracking. Lower the water level to only covers half the seed and tap will start to push out. Then plant in medium. Recently I've just been adding a drop of hydrogen peroxide in the water and has done same as dropping the water level. Only done it 2x but successful both times.

Hey bro! 👋 Germination. No fancy tricks or anything. I take a seed, grab a non-transparent zip-lock bag, take two clean cotton pads, moisten them with clean mineral water, wring them out so they're slightly damp and not dripping, place the seed between the pads, put all of this in the zip-lock envelope, and breathe my "carbon" gas into it, then I seal the envelope and send it to a dry dark place with room temperature around 23-24°C (like a cupboard or a drawer, for example). After 24 hours, I open the bag, take out the pads, and check if it has sprouted. I check the pads, and if they are already well dried, I moisten and wring them out again, return the pads with the seed to the ZIP bag, and give it a good 2-3 full exhales into the bag, seal it, and send it back to the dark place! Another 24 hours later, I check and see that the seed has sprouted and shown a root, which means it's time to plant! 👌 I always use this method and I've never had a seed delay in germination! Usually, it takes 1-2 days, so by the 2nd or 3rd day, you can already plant! 👌 Good luck, brother! ✊😇

Hey Mate, how is it. Just tried the eazyplugs, have a look at my Diesel Auto Diary! Fastest, and safest germination I ever experienced. No watering, no paper towell... just the dry seed into a soaked plug. Have a look! Cheerz, OimRausch ✌️
