Can you please tell me if the sides need to be covered with earth?When I covered the soil in the beginning it wasn't like that, but after waterings the soil shrunk and now there is space between the pot fabric and the soil. Should I add more soil to avoid root problems? And also the water drains down there and quickly runs downhill 😞

But can I leave off my water pump in my RDWC system?I’m going to change the water in my RDWC after I come back from work tomorrow. pH is settling and I’m getting the water on room temperature.
