Fingers go by the age and light of the plant. 1,3,5,7 fingers. The plant will make 9,11 and even 13 fingers if there is excess light. 7 is the average of a healthy plant.

Hey Growmie,
You can say that this is true, the number of fingers per leaf increases as the plant matures, so if they're not increasing it's a sure sign that something is going on with the plant, and some plants can actually grow up to 13 fingers. Cola growing again after to much light while flowering?In the last 2 weeks of flowering this plant seems to have started to grow at the top of the cola again. Lefft the lights on 5 hours too long 1 night. Also needed to do some maintenance etc in the same week. Maybe to much light (DLI) and starterd growing again for short while?
