Root Riot testing improvisation. After inserting the seed directly from packaging, placed root riot on a half plastic bottle and watered it. Using the other half as base and another plastic bottle in half to cover as a greenhouse. Drops of water added daily. Will it work?

The idea is just to leave so to have it sprout or create roots until I see it and then move it to soil.... I just don't have a greenhouse for seedlings. Neither a heating mat hence the idea of leaving a couple hours in the sunlight but bare in mind is the last hours of sun so not too hot also.... Thoughts????

It's better not to germinate in such a thing; the root will quickly show up against the walls, and due to the light, it will die off, and the plant will perish very quickly. There's no space, it's just a gimmick for germinating seeds, nothing more... well, or to record a timelapse video of how the root quickly fills this volume, the plant stretches strongly, the root darkens, the plant bends over, and dies... there are such videos on YouTube 👆 And it's best not to compact the substrate at all, so it stays loose and fine! 👌 Good luck, bro! ✊😇

Yes, have been covering with another cutted plastic bottle with small holes but also from time to time taking it off so its not all the time closed. Should I leave it together with my plants receiving full spectrum light during night, considering the seed is well covered by root riot so it chases light?
