Hour of day to harvest

I don't have 20 years experience. But if you dark rest, keeping it dark makes sense. Good luck.

Hmmm, guess ppl have their different ways. Me, I like to dark rest my plants before harvest. So harvesting in the day would kinda defeat the whole dark rest window. From the moment you chop her from the way you dry. It's meant to be in the dark, all the stuff I've read and what to do with airflow (don't blow fans directly on your plant but decent airexchange around the plant is a must.) So, me, I'd say if you are dark resting your plant to allow sugars to be drawn up and all the other good stuff a dark rest does for terps as its in a constant low temp, the lower the temp the better. (For the dark rest, if you do one, once it's hung dry, whole, 19-21c 45-60RH all depends how you like it.) So, if you don't dark rest it really doesn't matter but it is pref that you dry your pants in a dark place so I would say dark harvest.
