Hello
@KrashAndBurn ! Make some slight defoliation. It will help light to penetrate deeper in the canopy and it will lower significantly the risk of mold development. For the size of buds and potency if you are using synthetic fertilizers use a synthetic P/K booster and if you are growing organic use an organic P/K booster. For the smell and taste just try to keep the temperature low ( under 24°C ) and the nitrogen at low levels ( especially at last 3-4 weeks ) and if you are growing organic use compost teas. Compost teas give to the soil lots of beneficial bacteria that break down organic matter and making available into the soil ( beside macro and micro nutrients ) many "exotic" molecules like hormones. It is believed that these molecules are giving the exceptional taste of organic growing.
@ValhallasGarden That is not the way molasses is braking down. Molasses is braking down and consumed by enzymes produced by bacteria in the soil. Also plants don't need sugars and don't utilize them. Their making their own sugars via photosynthesis. The reason you use molasses is to feed the beneficial bacteria ( molasses gives them energy ) in the soil and not the plant.... Happy growing ! 👊
