My seedling has two stems, each with 3 cotyledons. I have so many questions, please answer them all 🙏 1 - Have you seen this or heard of this before? 2 - Should I try to separate them? 3 - Should I kill one? If so - kill short fat and stumpy or tall and skinny?

Sorry for the late response. How are things looking now? Did you decide to separate them? Looks like your fellow growers nailed it on the head, try separating or killing one of them. Let us know if you need any assistance.

Def seperate them mate when I get a two for one I wait until both are out of she'll then use a bowl of water and seperate gently or you always get one that outperforms the other and you end up with way less then you could of had.

there's often a runt in the two , the short one will be that runt, it could grow to maturity if you separate them but it's at high risk of "sudden death syndrome" i lost a plant like that 2 weeks before harvest , it had been doing well but shorter than the rest of the C99s, then one day i checked and it had died over night from 100 to 0 in a few hours. Anyway seperating them is the best thing you can do for the "one you keep" right, Hope this helps growmie 🚀

I have a Fastbuds Smoothie Auto that started with 3 cotyledons, but after 2 nodes or so, it has corrected itself to only having 2 sides per node. Must be something that isn't too uncommon from Fastbuds seeds.

Pretty nice double freak show you have going on. You don't live near Chernobyl by any chance? I've seen a few grows like yours on GD. You first of all need to let your seedlings dry out a bit the soil looks very wet. I would let them grow as is. Then if they are growing well put the twins in a 5- 7 gallon pot then let them do their thing. Already one is showing more growth than the other. It's your call but you can always chop the weaker one if needed in a few weeks. The one with the 3 cotyledons will continue to throw out three leaves its called Whorled Phyllotaxy so you will have three bud sites at each node not a bad thing at all. Just keep in mind extra leaves means they will block more light getting to the bud site but I guess you will manage. 👍

Yes you will run into situations like that it's a mutation. I had one that naturally topped it self. Your situation I would kill one. U don't want to take a chance and separate. U would have to expose seedling roots to light and air. Then trouble from there. Might grow a little just die. Or just stunted her growth drastically. But wait you'll noticed which one grows faster. Week or 2 when your ready to transplant chop one. Another option is just transplant to a little bigger pot then intended and grow both out. Both options are up to u. There both excellent choices

1/ Yes it is twins seedling , I already experiment it with a Jack herrer but never with 3 cotyledons . 2/ As their are twins they both have their own roots system so you can separate them and you'll get 2 plants from the same strain. 3/ No , unless you have no space to grow her ( you can give her to a friend ) , or yes if you feel like you wanna kill something... if you wanna select the best one then wait at least for 1 week to see which one is performing better

They are twins! 2 plants from one seed. Happens occasionally just like it does with humans. You can try to separate them but it might do more harm than good due to the delicate root system. I would indeed kill one but wait a little while before doing so. They shouldn't hurt each other when they are this young. I would personally grow them both out for a little while and see which one seems stronger of the 2. It is very hard to tell how a plant will perform this early in the game. If you kill the shorter one you may be killing the one that winds up growing biggest and yielding the most. If you let em grow for a week or so it shouldn't cause any harm and there should be a bigger difference between them to help decide.
