Growth Differences Between Same Genetics

Right2Flower
Right2Flowerstarted grow question 4 years ago
Hello growers, any ideas of why one lady has almost tripled in height during its stretching phase when compared to the other lady? At around week 6 Lady 1 just took flight and left Lady 2 behind. Both have been fed pretty similarly too.

Heya Right2Flower! This can be completely normal for sure! Even though it is the same strain different seeds can lean to certain genetic sides such as being more indica or sativa. Your taller plant most likely has leaned more towards the sativa genetics as they stretch a lot more. Super cool to see the difference! Will be interesting to see the smoke report difference of the two plants! Keep up the solid farming. Cheers,

Perfectly normal. See my diary for C99 grow. Even though exact same seed batch, setup and environment, one plant took off before the other. Anemic little sister has almost caught up to big sister, for my next posting. No worries if you continue to care for them equally.

genotype(genetic) + environment = phenotype Each plant can be different to her siblings, but that depends on how stabilized the strain is, if it's a F1 there will be a few phenotype, if it is a F10 chances are you will get very few phenotype !

That's genetics for you. Just because they are the same strain, it does not mean every plant will grow the same. Same thing happens with siblings
