When to start my flush (lots of close up pics)

I'm curious when I should to begin flushing one of my plants. I know I don't have a diary for her, but she's in her 6th week of flowering starting her 7th week on Wednesday (August 5th) and from what I've read Dread Bread takes between 8-9 weeks to finish. Any opinions?

Hey Growmie, Most estimated harvest dates are usually wrong so I wouldn't go off that. It is best to take a close look at the trichomes on your plant to assess when your cannabis is likely to be ready for harvest. If the tiny trichomes are just beginning to turn from clear, to a cloudy and milky color, this could be a good indication that the plant can begin flushing. It should be timed so that the majority of trichomes will have fully changed to the desired colour for harvest after two weeks. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

Go to Google, type in "should I flush cannabis". You'll get a few product ads along with some scientific papers and a blind taste test. The science will tell you that flushing makes a worse product with lower yields and a worse taste. Flushing won't take anything out of the plant. Nutrients in the plant are there to stay. If you're intent on flushing, wait about a week and only flush for a week.

Heya MantisMan, You’ll see everyone has a different opinion and some go against flushing. I flush three days before I’m going to chop to get all the salts out of my coco. That is my main reasoning for flushing. I’ve never flushed in soil but most people I know flush a week before they want to chop. Cheers,
