If you want really low cost.
- Get composted soil and find a farmer with chickens. Mix chicken shit with the compost, and you got some pretty good soil to grow plants in.
I get my compost from the nearest recycling facility.. They pretty much beg people to come pick it up.
- If you got a facility nearby, I recommend checking if they have the same thing going on.

Lowest cost would be soil+ 25% perlite + 10% vermiculite + 5% worm casings / humus.
Don't know about any brands, but nothing tops organic soil prepared by yourself!

How do you wash your coco?I'd like to reuse my coco, so just wondering how some of you that use it wash yours in prep for another grow.

ph problem in cocoHigh growmies, I grow in canna coco and checked my run off today and found 1 girl's ec was way to high so gave her a good flush with PH'd water 5.8.This did the trick and brought the ec back to where I want it but then checked ph and it went up with each flush any idea's ???Setup. Mold on soilI used BioBizz LightMix with Monsterbud Mix from Amnesia and some mycorrhiza in the hole of the seed. 3 seeds after 3 days still not germinated in soil. Had foil on top of the pots for humidity. Probably watered a bit too much. What should I do and will my seeds still germinate?

How does this soil mix look?Running 65% ProMixBX, 25% Castings, and 10% perlite.
With 5 tbsp each of crab, feather and fish bone meal as well as 2.5 tbsp each of kelp meal and bat guano. (20 tbsp total for 10 gallons, 2tbsp per gal)
