If you want really low cost.
- Get composted soil and find a farmer with chickens. Mix chicken shit with the compost, and you got some pretty good soil to grow plants in.
I get my compost from the nearest recycling facility.. They pretty much beg people to come pick it up.
- If you got a facility nearby, I recommend checking if they have the same thing going on.

Lowest cost would be soil+ 25% perlite + 10% vermiculite + 5% worm casings / humus.
Don't know about any brands, but nothing tops organic soil prepared by yourself!

Once seed cracked i planted seed on this soil. Is it too strong for the seedling? Am i already in trouble? xPIt's from Geolia, ph5.5-6.5. It says it has guano 200g/m³, and 1kg/m³ of N14 P16 K18 fertelizer and 7.0kg/m³ of limestone. 60-75% water absortion.It composed mostly of peat it seems. I brought in a bin of my vegetable garden soil from last season. Very nice stuff - worms and organics, I ran some water through it ph 6.57 runoff.
** The only thing I am concerned about is these little sacs of spores or pollen ( not sure ) **

Ph of the soilPh of the soil, I checked with this 2 ph meter but I dont know the credibility, if that work.. I see that is around 8.0 but I use water at 6.0ph and soil light mix biobizz, bio grow ,calmag , bio heaven. Are biology shouldn't change the ph.. how is possible? Advise?

soil not accepting waterSo last Sunday I watered in a little less than a gallon for each, in 7-gallon pots. the bottom is soaking wet, but about 1/2 inch down the soil seems bone dry. I got a dehumidifier to regulate and keep the humidity in 50%.
When i opend the deposit of the water of the dehumifier i found these little flies that are the classic Substrate fly (nasty but no harm).
Do yall think that the dehumidifier got them? Has this even happened to U3 years ago
