10g pots a good idea?

I am using 10 gallon pots on this grow with a mix of soils including some from the chicken coop (aged). As a new grower I see a lot of advice to go smaller. To me larger systems are more stable, am I off?

As long as you veg the plant long enough to fill the pot out with its root then your all good 💪 pot size is preference. I use 3 gallon on auto flowers cause of the shorter veg times. Then 5 gallon pots with plants veg for roughly 2 months or 7 gallon for 3 months. Good Luck Bro 💪

You done the right thing. The bigger the pot the bigger the plant. With photos so long as you veg them long enough in big pots you will get nice big plants. With autoflowers that size is probably to big and a waste of soil.

How to get PH down Hi everyone Her run off water is around PH 7.1 so I'm watering this plant with 5.8 PHed solution (biobizz and ph down). Despite of it I am not getting down the run off PH. What should I do to solve this problem? PS - I have already flushed her with 2.5 liters of 5.8 PH water.

Will an air stone in reservoir of water under a fabric pot filled with soil contribute anything?Soil based grow. 3 gallon fabric pot placed in a 5 gallon bucket, with holes drilled out the bottom. The 5 gallon has a reservoir below it. Can I throw an air stone in the reservoir w/ h20 and pump more air to increase oxygen or will the soil not benefit because it’s a hydro grow

Too much soil?I have 15L (4gal) fabric pots. The bag of soil contained 50L (13gal). It took me 1 bag and a quarter to fill 3 pots up untill the stitching. Am I doing something wrong? Could be that it has now more fertilizers in it than supposed to. Thank you

Optimal pH for solution, when growing in 70% Promix BX, 30% perlite.I'm having trouble finding reliable info regarding what to pH my nute solution to, I read that some like to look at it as hydro (technically soilless), and others view it as soil (due to being preloaded). So 5.5 - 6 or 6 - 6.5? HELP have done full grow using 5.5-6, peep the grow.

adjusting ph level with BioBizz Light Mix and coco mix I have been adjusting my ph level to around 6.2-6.5. Now I'm wondering whether this was a mistake (see previous post), since I'm using BioBizz Light Mix (60%), coco coir (30%) and perlite (10%) as my substrate. Our tap water has a ph level of about 7.3.

PH is 4.9- BAD batch of happy frog.Ok so yeah definitely seeing a problem here, BAD batch of happy frog. First time in soil, just got a blue lab pen, Calibrated and checked, & my PH is reading 4.9-5.0 on my soil.
