Did I chop at the right time? She's an autoflower in week 8 of flower and week 12 total. Dinafem say it's an 80 day plant and it's day 81. The big fan leaves are yellow and dying. Some of the small leaves closer to bud sites are yellowing/dying. 90% of the pistils are dead/red.

Hey @biird! Buds are beautiful and the trichomes ratio on the picture looks nice, so congratulations on your harvest! Keep up the great work 👊

You really need to check the trichomes. The breeder recommendation is always the absolute fastest it can be ready. You almost always need to add at least a week or 2 to it for it to be ready. The pistils going orange/brown means nothing generally because they can go brown for a number of reasons. With what I said in mind I'm gonna say you probably harvested too early. Youll still get high but yield and potency will be lower. You should get a scope or a jewelers loupe for when you next harvest to be able to tell for sure when it is ready.

From what you told us I guess you don't have a magnifier to watch at the trichomes to know if the plant is ready or not. But don't worry , you said that 90% of your pistils are brown then according to the old school method it is the right time to chop. The fact that she is yellowing is also a sign that she is done or nearly , it's called scenescance and I let you search on Google to know more about it. Last thing : good she was ready exactly like the breeder recommendation because usually you can fairly add a week or 2 to their recommendations 😊✌️🏼
