Clean tent before grow (process)

Any suggestions on how to clean / sterilize grow tent etc? Moved some pepper plants from outside into the unused grow tent so they could finish up(worked great) but they had aphids and God know what else from outside. What should I do before I start next grow? Start ETA January.

hi there, 10 to 1 bleach is my go-to, breaks down into harmless table salt and it's quite a bit cheaper than peroxide or alcohol. That being said, all 3 work great. Peroxide is probably the best option as plants can tolerate a relatively high concentration compared to alcohol or bleach. For the tent I use bleach, for my reservoirs, I use peroxide. Cheers

Hey! Aphids sucks, that's a fact! What I do (to stay organic) is I complety clean every wall of the tent with some white cleaning vinegar and a towel to rub it well. Then I also leave some cotton balls with essential oil of perppermint. You can also use lavendar or garlic essential oil which are great natural pesticides. Keep it growing and good luck!! L_C

hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol for surfaces will do you good. don't reuse anything that might have larvea/eggs/spores etc.. You clean it now and it sits dry for that long... probably fine. Give it a once over right before too. hopefully in meantime it is not stored anywhere near any other portion of indoor garden.
