Did I need to size up to larger rockwool cubes?Geminated seeds in 1x1x1 rockwool cubes. End state is to be in 5 gallon buckets with 8" net pot and clay pebbles. I figured the roots are too small to reach all the way into water solution still so put small cubes into 4x4x4 rockwool. Did I need to use larger cubes?

White mold?My smart pot is turning white at the bottom. There also appears to be roots trying to pop through. I put rocks between the pot and plate for air. I have one blade of grass and a tiny weed popping up, so conditions at the top of the pot are okay. Should be worried?

Will an air stone in reservoir of water under a fabric pot filled with soil contribute anything?Soil based grow. 3 gallon fabric pot placed in a 5 gallon bucket, with holes drilled out the bottom. Once seed cracked i planted seed on this soil. Is it too strong for the seedling? Am i already in trouble? xPIt's from Geolia, ph5.5-6.5. It says it has guano 200g/m³, and 1kg/m³ of N14 P16 K18 fertelizer and 7.0kg/m³ of limestone. 60-75% water absortion.It composed mostly of peat it seems. Its really fluffy, It seems good quality, how do i know? Its light mix right? Will it burn my sedSetup. Substrates

Do I need to add nutrients to a premixed soil?I'm using Cost of Maine Grower's Blend (Silver Bag) and am coming into the 2nd week or so of flowering. Do I need to top dress with any nutrients or is the soil enough on its own? Growing autoflowers in 3 Gallon pots.Setup. Substrates

Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etcIs there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? Dont get me wrong, I love Fox Farm’s, and 38/bag isnt terrible. I’m just curious if anyone has found a more mainstream soil that’s as good of soil. I also think their quality has been worse latelySetup. Substrates

Maintaining the soil pHI give pH'ed water, never more than 800ppm and I still always end up with lockouts. I used to not give water untill runoff but now I do. What to do after testing the runoff? It's currently at 6.0 even after a flush with 7.2. Ask many questions I need to know what I'm doing wrong.Other. General questions
