I starting a new grow, using Autos this time. I used Purple Cow IndiCanja and worked Great. I'm reading lots of reviews of growers getting fungal gnats from this soil also will this green light be visible to my plants.

Plants dont care about green light so that is fine. For your soil, if you are worrier about gnats you uave a couple of options: 1) bake your soil in the oven to sterilise before you plant in case your soil is preloaded with eggs and larvae - baking can kill them - you will need to add new bacteria if you do this as it will kill your microbes 2) when you set up the pots you can do a H2O2 drench to (hopefully) kill eggs and larvae - again needs bacteria to be reintroduced cause this will kill your rainforest 3) get some neem oil for a drench 4) get some diatomaceous earth and sprinkly gently on the surface if you see adults - it rips them open and they die of dehydration 5) get some nematodes SF online (very cheap) mix the tip of a pins worth of powder in to some water and they will eat larvae 6) have some yellow sticky traps as a back up 7) they cant fly well so keep the fans on. That is fungus gnats finished. Hope you have a great grow! :)

Easier to boil some water and pour through your planter. Still need to replace microbes though. All the eggs will be dead.
