Kind LED XL600 series 2 heights?

Hey,
I’m running 2x Kind Led xL600 series 2 lights and seen people running much much lower hanging heights than recommended (18inch instead of 30inch) and wondered if anyone has any PPFD or PAR readings at anything lower than 30inch or any reasons why they run them lower.

Many growers run lights lower than recommended thinking that'll get them faster growth when really it stresses the plants and keeps them short. If you have a lower space then running LEDs closer will keep them from growing tall. Its really about how you use your space and setup. Lights are okay to hang much closer in bloom than veg as the plants have already maxed out their height and canopy penetration becomes more crucial to yield

There’s tons of info and videos out there if you search for your product name + ppf / ppfd measurements / reviews / unboxing / etc. Lots of YouTube channels run by engineers and lighting pros dedicated to answering these types of questions as objective 3rd party evaluators.

600w hpsWouldnt let me PM. I have a 5ft long 3ft wide 6ft tall white walled grow room and am thinking about a 600w HPS light now. Will this fill the entire room? If so how many plants should I plant? Will this one suffice? Would a 400w hps be more suitable for this space?

I was reading some stuff about LED, about the light color.
So i have veg and bloom switches, should i keep both on when growing autoflower? Or keep veg until start of bloom and then work only with bloom light ou even both lights on bloom?

Led to hight?Hi everyone.
I'm thinking that the Led Light is to high, its around 70 cm from the plants, should I lower it down up to 50/55 or leave like that until Bloom, and on Bloom put it more close?
