I would do 1 in a big pot or 4 in smaller pot. depending on the power of the lights your using. Less is more.

Well, it's really down to you mate. I did 11 on my last go in my 100cm2. "They were all started at dif stages" I started 5 autos early on. "3-4weeks earlier and then added my seedlings that were 80-100cm away from the light and had the autos under it at 100% 30-40cm away. You can do a mix of autos and fems. Just if you do, I'd time it so when you flip your fems, your autos only have 1-2 weeks left. Or you can do what I did when it's time for the fems to go into their 10hr rest (might be 12hrs for you if you don't use IR to increase flowering time) just take them out when their time is done under the light and put into a small tent/ dark room and that way you can keep your autos going. If you're not strain hunting, (as I'm doing a lot of grows tto find 1s I like, I like to get as many in as I can) then when you find your pref in strain. Then you can focus on doing big monsters with 4, for me, 4 plants in a 1m2 space wouldn't do me, unless I did a really long veg. Atm I've 8 fems and they're only taking up 3/5s of the space, mind you, they're small,,(by design)

depends on what you want to do. more plants can reduce required vege times while still fully filling tent. more plants means a bit more work too. if you did 12/12 from seed i bet you could fit 9 in a sea of green, for example.
