Hi everyone, small question, I wanted to know if mars hydro is safe compared to the other big brands. I want to go with 3 sp6500 but still scared if something will happen to the chips of led. Still doesn’t know if i go with led or remain with hps. I need all the answers from you!

Hi, i was thinking the same but i decided to try, by the moment i can see that my plant are happier due to less temp in the indoor (i've been using HPS 600W with cooltube for the last 8 years).
It looks very resistant and with good finished, it also comes with warranty.
You will also see a very big difference in the monthly bill, usually i paid 70€ more in it for 1x600HPS, now i pay 68€ less monthly (with 1x TS1000)

The Sp6500 is a nice light with name brand leds and driver! I only use LED and you are not making a bad choice, but at the price you are paying for 3— check out some others with the same driver and chips!

Mars Hydro has proven themselves to be a reliable light. I personally prefer led over hps. I couldn't run an hps here in the summer, the heat would not work. Try um out. Personally I think they run a bit warm. But I've seen great results with them. 🤘😤

what ppfd for 20/4 autoflower?Just bought the FC-4800 and before this I had always measured my light using inches away from canopy however I want to learn how to use the light using PPFD. I have found average measurements online but what should I aim for for a 20/4 autoflower schedule please?

Got a Mars Hydro TS600, will it do alright?My plan is to grow only 1 plant, in a 40x40x120 tent. I know the tent is pretty small but hopefully i can do some training on the plant to grow wide

Should I use the VEG lights 24x7 from the time I plant my seed until it's ready to bloom, or would something like 18 hours on and 6 hours off make more sense? Is there a "best practice" for veg lighting? It has worked for my first 3 grows. VIPARSPECTRA 600W LED

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Light scheduleSo I got a new timer and messed up schedule. Plants got 16 hrs of light, turned lights out as soon as I noticed (5am).
11am-11pm light.(5 weeks into flower)
Should I let plants have 12hrs dark now and resume 12-12 , or let lights come on at 11am(6hrs dark)
