What ppfd do you guys recommend for plants in veg?
I’m finding that my light can be too strong at max power even at a 24” distance.

250 PPF for seedlings
400 to 600 for veg
600 to 850/900 in flower.

Put your hand under the light at the height of your canopy., if your hand feels comfortable under the light for 1 minute then your girls will be fine. Cheers

SF-1000 safe distance and dimmer for seedlings in soil?my seedlings are stretching and not growing in size. soil, autos, dropped in water 7 days ago and moved to soil in solo cups.
What are people running the SF-1000 at for seedlings?
I was at 30" and 20% but that's not good clearly.

Too little lightI have now tried removing the WPM by smiering 40/60 milk/water on the affected areas. Deep inside the canopy aswell since little to no airflow passes here due to the plant being so deep in the pot. And apart from that the plant recieves 8 hours of light and I cant install a LED.6y ago

24 or 18 and 6Been running my lights 24 hours a day on my seedlings. Since I am growing autos, should I be at 18 and 6 now? Or should I keep running them 24 for the first couple of weeks to help veg up little before giving rest? This is my 1st time growing autos and 1st indoor grow in 20 yrsWeek 1

Downgrade my light wattage or not?My tent is 80cm x 80cm x 180cm and i use a 400w hps/mh. Based on all light calculations i came across it gives me a total requirements of light of around 160-200 watts. Should i downgrade to a 250w system or keep the 400w and why please, some expert ?
