Recurriung Bud Issue

Discoloration of the inside part of bud. 3/4 of the bud looks great, the other 1/4 is faded and brown. This is the part that was against the stem during the grow. What is this? I checked under a scope and do not think this is mold/rot. Can someone please HELP?

That is ok, just discolored for being in direct contact with the stem for long periods during the grow. If it was rotten it would have some spider-web looking stuff and it would be way brownish than that.

Mild Botrytis, possibly. I would not consume that personally.

Could be that it's just lighter in color due to being a dense nug packed tight against the stem. I'm not actually seeing true signs of rot. You'd notice it's brown color and it also never hardens and is easy to squish in your fingers (a giveaway to bad rot)
If your afraid rip that part off. 🤘😤

Ohh no!!! That’s bud rot! I’ve had that happen once before on very large colas. It sucks. You can try and cut out the bad parts but really it is a health risk to smoke. I ended up making oil with the bad shot and having to push the final ISO rinse through a 0.2 micron filter, which was very dam hard to do. Lol

Trichome Advice--Cloudy enough to stop giving nutes??I'm trying to figure out when I should stop giving nutes. I've read 1-2 weeks before harvest when the trichomes turn Amber. My question is: Based on these trichomes, when would you stop giving nutes? Do they look cloudy enough to stop now? Or should I wait until I see amber?

How long to go? ( /-). Buds healthy? Short pistils?How long will those buds have to go? Were halfway week 4 now but seller claims flowercycle of 6 weeks. I dont think i will make that. Bought 40w led light for bad weather days. Arent the pistils too short? Some already turning bit brownish. Buds already seem a bit swelling though
