I would wait until she has at 5-6 nodes before topping. Then top down to the third node. Top them again once the two new tops have have enough new growth. Top each cola until you have 8 main ones

Should I defoliate after topping with LST ?I just did my first topping and she took it very well, no signs of stress and actually growing really fast I think. I was thinking about LST the top colas so the lower ones can reach that height, should I cut the top leaves shadowing the lower future colas?

Hairs earlier than normal after topping, expected?I am getting white hairs all over the plant about a week and a half after topping. (5 1/2 weeks old). Ive grown this strain(northern lights auto) 6 other times and its never gotten the white hairs this soon. soonest was about (7weeks). Is it flowering early?

Topping at two weeks?I wonder what the effect of topping so early will have? Week two is pretty unconventional, with most preferring 3-5 weeks. She seems pretty happy though. Hopefully this will give maximum uninterrupted ( minus of course the LST ) veg time now.

Bottom leaves yellowish - why? And can I top?On both of my plants (C99 & S.A.D.) the bottom leaves are turning yellowish and I can't figure out why.
