I would wait until she has at 5-6 nodes before topping. Then top down to the third node. Top them again once the two new tops have have enough new growth. Top each cola until you have 8 main ones

Is it a problem if one main cola is longer then the other?Did my first topping/mainlining. Right cola is longer then the left one, is it a problem or will they even out? Topping When should I start my 1st topping? I have 2 plants both have 5 nodes with the next set of leaves growing. I was thinking of waiting until the stem grows to about 1cm and then cut 0.5cm above the 5th node. This is my 1st time growing please help.

Are the gals safe to top or are they too stressed?I've heard that you shouldn't top your ladies while there are any deficiencies or issues as it can be extremely stressful.
