Over time, the top layer of mineral wool "turns green". The problem is probably that the humidifier is located too close to the plant.
I don't know.... to close the substrate from entering the light ?!
What do you think ?

Algae is common, comes from mositure and light. Cover the wool with a garbage bag or something similar, to block the light until plant shades it.

Your growing medium is a giant sponge and is gonna be a breeding ground for bacteria and mold.. You need more drainage.

Worried about some clear trichomes before harvest with some amber and mostly cloudy.I am going to try to do a partial harvest with the top buds because the lower nodes are definitely not looking ready yet. It looks like there are mostly cloud with some amber but I am worried about the amount of clear trichomes I am still seeing. Does this look ready for harvest?

I have huge problem with judging trichs.I have 4 plants, 2 chopped now, 1 just in time, second too late. Is My Critical AUTO a Photoperiod Strain?I have 3 auto strains, 2x Thunderfuck and 1x Critical. The Thunderfuck plants bloomed normally and have been harvested. The Critical, except for a few light pre-flowers on one stem, hasn't bloomed. I suspect it might be a photoperiod. Should I put it in the tent at 12/12 or 18/6?
