Why is my plant growing upward so slowly? Temp, light & water are fine. My last auto in a Solo cup was 3x this size by Week 3. I'm not transplanting & will be growing in this container (18 oz) the whole time. No nutes yet--only doing natural (urine fert later this week).

Morning...so true on all the thing they're mentioning. The one pic I see..the leaf almost look like its folding under and crisp, the soil looks loose and airy like its a tad dry...like it needs a drink. If you are determined to keep it in a small cup...then I would imagine its used up the available nutrients in the soil by week 3. At least a but of micro nutrient at the very least... Good luck with it I hope she perks up for you.

When growing in a small container you need to water more frequently or the plant will feed of itself slowing it down my plants I have in 3l need feeding 2 times a day as they dry there pots too quick

Autos only grow to the size of its container. You are growing in a solo cup but not transplanting, you may have issues. I would bite the bullet and the stress and transplant her. Plant autos in the pot they will be finishing in from day 1 As for helping, I would try adding some humidity to the room to see if the leaves can take up some food to the roots. Something I would look for is to make sure you have drainage in that cup. Looks like its drowning and the soil/medium looks soaked to me. Did the soil compact together? If it did then the water may not be draining correctly and stressing your plant out.

Hi there, well it's not easy to find the problem if you don't provide all of your settings. From what I see in your last pictures, I think your plant is suffering from heat-stress, underwatering-stress, and probably other things (Ph, Ec, Airflow...). I'd recommend you to track all of your settings onto your diary, it will help you - and the community - to identify your problems and try solutions before it's too late. I'll be around, good luck with this baby!

Hi. Although you say temps etc are fine. There are no stats showing what they are. So it’s harder to pin point. Young plants and especially in veg , enjoy higher RH. (Room humidity). Also check your water PH. In the picture your soul looks pretty dry, so when watering saturate the whole medium. Also, a light fan blowing over her will help thicken up the stems. Not every plant will grow at the same rate so you will have to give it time too pick up. What are your night temps? -too cold can stunt her growth. Had a similar issue myself. As soon as I got the night temps up my plants were blossoming. Sorry if all what I said is pretty school boy but sometimes we have to go back to basic to pin point the problem! Hope this helps.
