does anyone ever try the method of not really bury the seed? What if I was to put a 1/4 inch dent in the soil and place the seed in and not cover it up?

Assuming you could keep it moist enough, it would sprout. If there is light, though, your taproot would be exposed directly. This would be bad. The root would also have trouble driving into the dirt or might go in sideways or something. Also not good.
You can do this, but it would not work as well. Cover it with a little soil. Don't pack it too tightly. Grow Marijuana 🙃

I dont need too much weed so maybe its ok for me.

Woke up feeling hungover (was not drinking), plant is dead. Fuckin plant murder mystery. I am the main suspect. Howdunnit. Pls help.Looked grow tent and saw one of my plants is pretty much gone. Only real change is I'd given it a little fish + guano fertilizer and gave it a light spray with neem oil. Live in a small apt and left the windows closed overnight due to weather. Pics are a single day apart. Ideas?
