Root loss shock?

GanjagrowingGal
GanjagrowingGalstarted grow question 3 years ago
Can I do anything?! I had her in with another seedling for the 1st 14 days and when I went to transplant them into their own pots their roots were completely entwined around each other. I tried to separate them but a good chunk of roots came away. They have both wilted badly!

😂😂😓 I laugh because I've been there, all I can say is you'd be surprised. I dropped all of my seedlings in my 1st grow.... multiple times 😬😔 I was clumsy and excited and yeah. Replant and lightly water....it's 50/50 really. I haven't killed one yet 🤘👊👌👍 GL

All you can do is keep light on them and substrate moist. Root stressed and damage. Hope they take to the transplant and perk up in next few days. Good luck. If autos it's best to start them where they finish, never transplant a auto.

Yea, you can't use the same pot for more than 1 plant unless you plan on keeping them together. Roots will wrap around themselves and the plants don't care if the roots are from the same plant or a different plant.
