I transferred my auto seedlings in their plugs to a small, transitional pot. Is it true autos can and should go straight from germination to the big pot without a stepping stone?
Well, in every transplant you risk shocking her.
Problem is, an autoflowering strain is bound in time, not in photoperiod. If her gets shocked, you will lose precious grown time.
I almost always grow autos in final pot, taking care in water regimen.
Autos have limited time. So stress from a transplant could take a week or 2 of limited grow time. I always start in final spot. 3 gallon fabric or bucket. Prefer fabric bag when have them available. Provides more air to roots and also prunes roots as they reach the edges. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊
yes this is true.. If you transplant your plants when the Roots are moist/wet it's a far better situation for your plant.. Iv'e transplanted lots of plants and when the grow medium is moist or wet.. It barely phases them.. Dry roots can die and are quite fragile. If done gently and with some care.. Plants can be transplanted in soil with little to no slow down... I say plants because I work with more then Cannabis :). Cacti.. Ferns.. I learned a lot growing other things as well as Cannabis :).
