How many watts of CFL to use for the first few days of seedling/veg. hoping to move to LED later on. any suggestions welcome.

If it's just for one seed. 23 watt 6500k bulb will do. Just keep it 3 to 4 inches above the seed when it pops out. If you don't have a 6500k bulb 5000k will do. Best of luck with your grow.

Distance from pot to light during germinationWorried about our light power and distance to the pots, should we be running it at full power with the light higher in the tent or vice versa? Hey guys. First grow. Yellow spots curling edges on my BF Wedding Cake Auto. What should i do?Hey guys. 7 days old, growing in biobizz lightmix+biotabs starter kit soil. Second seed had been growing wrong way up.Turns out my second seed was growing upside down and the taproot had been growing towards the light for ~8 days. I've since transplanted and the seed doesn't seem to be growing much at all; although it has changed colour from being a yellowish hue to green. Is it likely a dud now6y ago
