CFLs for seedlings. How many watts?

How many watts of CFL to use for the first few days of seedling/veg. hoping to move to LED later on. any suggestions welcome.

If it's just for one seed. 23 watt 6500k bulb will do. Just keep it 3 to 4 inches above the seed when it pops out. If you don't have a 6500k bulb 5000k will do. Best of luck with your grow.

Any idea whats wrong with my seedlings?Hey everyone, I had this issue last time already when I popped about 40 seeds and had to discard more of half of them because of this issue. I pop them as usual in water and put them in my living soil 0,5L pots. As soon as they show on the surface they look like shit... any idea?

please look at my seed 3 days after germination and tell me if she is a gonermy germination pot fell while being moved. one seed got out but it wasn't rooted yet, I put it back in. do you think she will be okey or do I germinate another one? seedling discoloration, leaning toward center, brown perlite despite no nutrients so farleaves of these seedlings look weird, almost looks like light discoloration, but they also seem to be leaning toward the middle of the box for more light. Also, the perlite is turning orangey/brown, just got a new light and dont have much experience with LED or growing in general

Is growth normally this slow for seedlings? Any advice appreciated.These 3 seeds (of 12) germinated March 19-21; I transferred them to coco coir/perlite soil under 40W full-spectrum grow lights I also use for garden vegetable seedlings. Coco Seedlings slow and yellowing Overwatered/high PhAutoflower seedlings are 11 days out of the coco,bit light green yellowish from start.
I gave too much water with ph around 7.5 which i saw after testing my tap water with teststrips today.
No growth for last few days
Ordered digital ph meter and ph down, is it worth to continue?

Adding More SoilShould I switch from fabric pots and add more soil or just add more soil?
My plants are a tall in the sense of they seem really stretched up. I moved my light closer, but I think the lack of dirt could also be hurting them. Any ideas or recommendations?
