Little girls are looking a lot taller today. Will post a new week in 3 days. But as they are growing so fast and I'm still using 125 CFL, How much distance between bulb/reflector and plants should I keep.?? I will be switching to a HPS at some stage,

cfl can sit 2-3 inch above the seedling mate, much more and they'll get all gangly

Can someone please show me a proper setup guide for hanging grow lights?I recently purchased a Vivosun Smart grow system, but this is my first tent and the booklet just says "tie light up top" with a ratchet hook system. I wont be able to adjust height without tons of extra work, can someone assist me?

Light strips Opinions on led strips down the poles of my tent for extra light or saving up for an upgrade.... I've been talking to a fellow grower and I know I need more light in order to have a better yield. I thought 4 light strips would give light from each side plus on top. Whatcha think?

24 or 18 and 6 Been running my lights 24 hours a day on my seedlings. Since I am growing autos, should I be at 18 and 6 now? Or should I keep running them 24 for the first couple of weeks to help veg up little before giving rest? This is my 1st time growing autos and 1st indoor grow in 20 yrs

Light Distance - 3 plants are taller than the others...Hi all. So I have 6 plants with a 400w HID. 3 of them are about 10-15CM taller than the others. My light is currently about 45CM from the top of the tallest one. Would this affect the shorter plants negatively? Should I raise them to the same level and up the light to 60CM rather

Is it too late for scrog and have I had the light too low during the veg stage?So I noticed pistils appearing and now I'm worried that I've had my light too low during veg (~8k lux). Is it too late for scrog at this point or will they continue to grow? I've now bumped the light up to 22K lux should I lower the light to increase the intensity even more? TIA

Tent too hot?I added two blurple lights - I'm not sure how much they're helping growth but they are definitely making the tent hotter - about 5 degrees F. I have a fan blowing at the bottom of the tent and at top over the lights but I'm worried that it might be too hot. Should I ditch them?
