*** before reading, please note that the driver is often what is grounding the unit. So, make sure it is still grounded after you relocate the driver. If it was phyiscally touching the casing, it didn't need a wire.. if you move it offboard, you will want to run a gound to the casing one way or another. Depending on how it is wired, it could be a very large amount of volts.
sure, get some 300V wire and can either go cheap or get some water-proof type connectors made to be buried, often. no wories about spraying shit in your gow room that way.
2-pin wago are the cheap way. make sure it can handle whatever curent is listed for the light etc. as with anything else.

i didn't look fo a 2-pin one, but a 3-pin will work fine.. just make sure you use teh same two. you can see those are a little sturdier.

14 guage for a 600watt type of beast (real watts dawn from power outlet relative to USA, 240v outlets may have different dynamics?)... again, pick guage that is necessary / appropriate.
