If you want all the details... you have to give all the details. In what medium are you growing; soil, coir, hyro? How large are your plants? How large is your container? What is the humidity and temperature? Water your plants with... water and maybe nutrients. The correct Ph of the water is always important. What Ph you need depends on how you are growing (soil, hydro...?) but for soil I like the water to be 6.5 Ph. Other growing methods may need different Ph's depending on what you are doing. Plants will need more water when it's hotter and when the humidity is lower. Plants grown in soil in larger containers generally can get by with less frequent watering while the same plant in a smaller container. Larger plants consume more water than smaller ones and will need more water. Fabric pots will evaporate water quickly and might need daily watering while the same plant in a plastic container might go an extra day between watering's. In the end we can't tell you exactly what to do. That's where some growing experience really helps. You have to look at your plants regularly and adjust the watering according to what they need. It can be stressful at first but after you've gone through a few grow cycles it will become quite easy. You'll just be able to look at your plants or pick up the pot and know if they need water or not.
