Darkness before Harvest?

I actually just tried this on one of my plants for the first time. I didn’t really think it would do anything much different. I had 3 Obi-Wan kush and decided to try this technique with the last one I harvested. So it did go about 4 days longer in flowering then my other 2, but there actually was a noticeable difference I think. I lent out my microscope and didn’t have it to check the final results though on the third plant. The one that went into darkness for 3 days definitely seemed way more along in the ripening of the buds though. Seemed to have put it into overdrive for finishing. Not sure if it actually increased thc or yield or any of that, but my guess is it just speeds along your bud ripening if anything. Get those amber tricombs a bit faster...lol Wish I had my scope to have tested it for sure but I think I will try it again next round and pay attention to the tricombs more when I have my scope back.
