Week 7 SCROG vs Defoliation question

I'm in the middle of week 6 of flower, both strains are expected to finish at 8 or 9 weeks. Plants are crowded. Buds aren't as big as I was expecting. I'm not sure if I should leave the SCROG canopy to boost the crowns, or defoliate to get more light to the lower bud sites.

I would remove all the damaged leaves. I sometimes remove some leaves in late flowering. Don’t remove too many and she will be fine. 😉

See photo above on day 27. Fan leaves are curling as well as new growth. She is in well drained good quality pitting mix. Weather had been both very hot and then cold and windy. Inititially tboygh she was over watered from rain but no change when dried out. Flushed this morning.

I'm looking for more taste than quantity in these beautiful plants. I was able to read that by stressing them a bit (LST or other techniques), it brought out more the terpenes of the plants. What do you think ? Do you have techniques to have a better taste ?

Need some advice please. The pistols are 20 to 30 percent brownish. But the trichomes are still clear to cloudy, no amber. Almost a third of the pistols are still all white with clear trichomes. I want to get her to max THC. Should I let her keep growing?

I have taken two of those small ones from week 3 and placing them in 12 hours darkness in a closet, so they can start blooming, but i have never tried to move the plants by hand to give them their 12 hours darkness, what should i be aware of ? :)
