Been about a week since repotting, first time checking my ph run off, using 60/40 coco pebble mix (canna pro) and my ph run off is 3.4?! I just flushed two of my plants, water water 7.5ph once I warmed to 25 degrees, put almost 2litres through each and the ph same..3.4, HELP! 😅

Ok, so I’ve had a thought, as I had my vpd up to high for a couple days, I think I’ve had it to dry and hot so it’s taken in the water but not the nutrients and so left the medium rather toxic in regards to my plant health? Just a thought, spitballing over a j..

I wish it was my metre bulbi I truly do..but I’ve made sure to store, clean and maintain that, I checked it several times again with my ph buffer, and my bottled water after settling came to a straight 7 to.. I’ve been watering spot on 6, I do have other seeds, and a water filter system being put in Monday so I may just start again..my only problem is summer coming up and trying to keep my room cool enough 😅 They have some of those in the ecothrive I’ve used do they not? I’m pretty gutted they’re thus far under.. I got the run off ec down to 0.5 and then fed that one, I gave her 10+litres of ph 7 water and the run off barely moved, rose to 3.9. Only one other is showing symptoms (currently) so I may do the same to her and wait and see just as an experiment before restarting, it’s been a steep learning curve!

Hi there, looks like your pH meter could be broken or not calibrated correctly. Try using paper pH strips perhaps ! Actually you should be watering with about 6.0 pH. try to use pH down , and gradually (over several waterings) bring the pH down to 6. to "sustainably" have a stable pH , try to add beneficial bacteria every so often something like bacilus subtilis. Another thing you can do to stabilise the pH is to use humic acid. This will normalize pH to 6.5 . Hope this helps ! 🚀

Yeah I recalibrated after I did the readings and no changes, used my buffer and came up 7 so unfortunately it’s not my metre..I’ll start with one and see how I get on, I’m running low on dechloeinated water, b and m here I come..😅

You might be better reporting into a new pot thoe if you want to use the same one , flush as much as it take to bring your PH up again and make sure the pen is calibrated as even dropping 1.0ph is 4x more acid or alkaline, 2.0 is something like 16x more ...
