When to transplant?

You're going to want to transplant these dry and then soak the entire substrate so there are no dry pockets at all... you'll probably have to add more soil once you've done that. From there on, bottom feeding/watering is a great way to keep the soil from compacting too much and allowing oxygen into the roots.
