Really a Phosphorus Deficiency?

MedicalCannabisCultivation

Hi 1 plant has dark spots on lower leaves. Im using BIOCANNA BioTerraPlus soil which should be rich enough even when not fertilising. I only added fertiliser once since germination. Is it a Phosphorus Deficiency even though growing in rich soil or could it be something else?

Hey there medical, so usually a vegetative plant won’t really show phosphorous deficiency because it doesn’t use much of it. What you have looks more like nutrient burn , you can see this from the burnt tips. Maybe when you fed it messed up the pH a bit as well, the splotchy aspect of the discoloration points to that. Usually in amended soil you don’t really need to feed for the first four weeks. Just hold off on the nutes keep the plain water going and hope that the plant recovers . Hope this helps ! 🚀
