PH is 4.9- BAD batch of happy frog.Ok so yeah definitely seeing a problem here, BAD batch of happy frog. First time in soil, just got a blue lab pen, Calibrated and checked, & my PH is reading 4.9-5.0 on my soil. I was thinking about doing a 50/50 Fox Farm-Happy Frog and Fox Farm-Ocean Forest as a soil base. Would this mix be to hot? Also I will be using 3 of there nutrients (separately) throught stages of growth. Id love your opinions and experiences on this.

bad soilthe very bottom (1-1.5”) of my soil won’t drain. it’s compact and wet. becoming acidic(ph5, and the ph comes up to 6.8 the less deep u go) should i take the plant out from the pot and replace the shitty soil? i feel like i should. i just need encouragement and directionWeek 5

Is it better to adjust nutrition if using soil from a previous grow?One of my grows is nearing the end and is being flushed this week ready for the chop on Saturday. Do I need to adjust the feed schedule for the next grow to account for any residual nutrients in the soil from the last grow? I am using BioBizz Light-Mix soil & full BioBizz range.3y ago

Good quality soil for second grow?I’m looking for a good quality soil for my second run of plants for when I transplant. I used miracle grow organic potting mix for my first run but was told without the person knowing the brand it was trash just from the looks of it. Dont want to make that mistake again.Setup. Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etcIs there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? Dont get me wrong, I love Fox Farm’s, and 38/bag isnt terrible. I’m just curious if anyone has found a more mainstream soil that’s as good of soil. Drastic rise in ppm using top drip in hydrotonHey... i am having a problem with my top drip on hydroton (week 1). My ppm rises dramatically over a day and a half. Im talking 300ppm to 800ppm.
Hydroton has been rinsed well before use. I have run dwc and rdwc before in hydroton without any problems. Anyone have an idea?

Now I'm wondering whether this was a mistake (see previous post), since I'm using BioBizz Light Mix (60%), coco coir (30%) and perlite (10%) as my substrate. Maintaining the soil pHI give pH'ed water, never more than 800ppm and I still always end up with lockouts. I used to not give water untill runoff but now I do. What to do after testing the runoff?
