Hi there! I tried autos outside with limited direct sunlight (7-8hours) and plenty of indirect sunlight (5hours extra). I also gave some seeds from same batch to a friend with led lighting to compare. We found that: 1. LED lights on 18 hour schedule makes huge difference (2-3x the size plant during veg) 2. Supplementing with CFLs made huge difference. I started with a single 85w cfl but eventually added more to get to total 500w in cfls. The difference at around week 4 across my three grows should give you some indication of the impact. My take away from this was that if you can't supply >12hours direct light to autos then it is better to grow photo periods instead and be patient. If you do grow autos with limited light then supplementing should produce a big payoff.

So depends is that 6hrs direct light and 8-10hrs indirect light? Or is it complete shade, morning light or afternoon? Most autos want 14+ hrs of light and most would say best results with an 18/6 light cycle. Autos will grow thanks to the rudaralis in almost any light cycle but final product will be short of expectations.

With the added 10 hrs from the 60 watt light u could get away with it. Better to use a 2-400 watt for that number of plants but if youre not banking on a big harvest then yes, you’ve found a relatively sound solution.

I would have to say no my friend. For a happy, healthy yielding plant , you'll need to get your plants at least 16 hours of light but I would suggest a 18/6 light schedule. Also if your not getting enough from the sunlight on your balcony get yourself a led light to make sure they're getting enough light . Good Luck my friend.

A lot depends on the time of day, if that time is say 10AM to 4PM then yes its enough as afternoon sun is considered stronger and 6 hours a day of that is considered "enough" for fruiting plants depending on weather conditions. So its kind of a matter get em all you can. Hope someone can give you a better answer good luck
