thanks so much @BraveheartGenetics yeah we get 151 proof and Wray and nephew which is about 63% ABV but don't know if the sugar content will be harmful to smoke. I should be able to source some grain alcohol from some place lol. could use it for cooking oil if I decarboxylate the crop

Hi mate, I don't think the alcohol strength is strong enough to extract it all. Any grain alcohol would work as well as isopropyl but I'm not sure if isopropyl is completely safe, it may leave residue.
Using rum could contaminate your fresh made hash.
