Whens the best time to do hst ive been doing the lst for a couple weeks now wasnt sure weather just to leave the hst out or not and any adivce on how to do the hst properly is really grateful

Looking at your plant I would bother with HST just keep doing what u doing. Looks like you have a fairly even canopy.

You can use hst if you want to slow vertical growth in veg. You can check my diary. “No topping” where I use HST and LST. Just don’t do it in flower and give her at least a few weeks to recover fully. Just pick a point you want to bend. Massage it by squeezing or lightly twisting( she will start to feel loose. Then just bend her over and make sure to tie her down or else she will try to straighten her self out again. Most people don’t recommend HST but until you try things you’ll never know:) branches get stronger which is a huge benefit in flower! Good luck!

You don’t do both techniques. You choose between one or the other. LST is done in the early stage to shape and manifold the plant with no stress. HST is done in middle of Veg, where you twist to melt and bend and broke the main stems to lay them down.
