Why do you top your plants?

This isn’t really a question but I just wanted to show you guys the effectiveness of LST/HST. I did an 8 cola mainline last grow, so I’m very familiar with topping. This is definitely a good method to achieve a topped canopy while reducing veg time:)

I love me some LST.. And Topping Changes the Branch structure that's all in my opinions as well. Why do so much damage when you can just do this? I think a lot of people just do all the training because they can.. It doesn't really help their yield or anything. It's just some people really like having 4 huge buds. I like lots of buds.

Mainline is a great way to get some fat nugs and a great structure on a plant. However I've found that your environment needs to be on point especially when you have big colas , as they're more prone to mold. But if you can keep that humidty low mainline is the best plant training method imo. It does take a bit more time in veg but with the right genetics you can get a huge yield in a small space. With no popcorn bugs underneath. Looks like you have trained your girl well you'll have some nice sized buds on her. She's ready to start flowering. :) Good luck 🌱

I like the look of that mate, I can appreciate training like this, love training them. I've got a mephisto grizzly crinkle auto I topped 7 times, no defol or lollipopping though, looks tidy I reckon. Good luck mate, I'll look forward to giving this a go 😁
